Simon Hancock

Simon Hancock has over 25 years of experience in the eVTOL industry, focusing on research and development as well as business development. Currently, Simon serves as the Head of eVTOL at Stirling Dynamics, where they coordinate R&D activities, acquire external research funding, and foster collaborations in the aerospace sector. Previously, Simon held various roles at Stirling Dynamics, including Research & Development Manager and Capability Manager in Loads & Aerodynamics. Simon has also worked as a Systems Engineer at Alstom Power Conversion and served as a Higher Scientific Officer at the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency. Simon earned a PhD in Gas Turbine Engine Controller Design from the University of Wales, Bangor.
