Mrinal Roy

Mrinal Roy has a strong background in IT and information security. Mrinal is currently working as a CISO Lead at STL Digital, where they are responsible for managing information security, GRC, threat management, ISO 27001 compliance, and SOC. Prior to this, they worked for Aptara as the IT Head and CISO, overseeing IT infrastructure operations and the SOC team. Mrinal managed internet bandwidth, physical and virtual servers, and led a team of 50 members. Mrinal also has experience as a Chief Manager at Times Internet, where they set up IT infrastructure operations across PAN India offices. Mrinal managed LAN, WAN, and server monitoring systems, and oversaw the O365 platform. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Manager-IT at Belair Travel, where they managed the travel booking engine and IT infrastructure operations. Mrinal also served as the Technical Head for ABACUS Distribution System (I) Pvt Ltd and as a Resident Engineer at PCS Industries Ltd.

Mrinal Roy completed a Bachelor of Science (Electronics) degree at St. Aloysius College in 1996. Mrinal then pursued a Master of Science (Electronics) degree at Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, Mrinal Roy studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at Kendriya Vidyalaya between 1987 and 1993. In 2022, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
