In recruitment, everyone talks about speed.
At Stoa, we care more about getting it right.

Stoa takes its name from the Stoics – a place of calm thinking in a noisy world – and that’s how we see our role in temporary recruitment for driving, logistics and industrial work.

Most agencies rush to throw bums on seats.
We slow down just enough to ask better questions:

Which shifts keep letting you down?

Which routes always seem to cause trouble?

Where are you losing sleep to no-shows and last-minute changes?

From there, we build something simple and practical:
reliable local workers, regular faces on key shifts, and a plan for the busy periods so you’re not starting from scratch every week.

We focus on:

Temporary and temp-to-perm staffing for driving, warehouse and industrial roles

Shift-based operations – earlys, lates, nights, weekends

Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas

What you get with Stoa isn’t “more agencies on the list”. You get:

People who turn up and come back

Less fire-fighting, more breathing space

A partner who understands the pressure on transport and warehouse teams, because that’s all we do

We’re not trying to be the cheapest option.
We’d rather be the one you can actually rely on when the phones are ringing and the yard is full.

If you look after staffing for transport, warehouse or industrial sites and there’s a route, shift or site that always seems to go wrong, that’s where we start.

Bring us your hardest shift.
We’ll show you what a steadier approach to temporary recruitment feels like.
