Jan Hess

Jan Hess is an experienced engineer currently serving as Entwicklungsingenieur at STOBAG AG since January 2022. Previously, Jan held the position of Strukturingenieur at smartflyer ltd from November 2020 to December 2021, and worked as a Wissenschaftlicher Assistent at the Institut für Kuns Kunststofftechnik IKT from March 2018 to November 2020. Prior roles include Projektleiter Engineering at CWA Constructions SA/Corp. from November 2016 to March 2018 and Konstrukteur at Franke Water Systems AG, KWC from August 2008 to March 2013. Jan's educational background includes a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW (2018-2021), a Bachelor of Science in Maschinenbau also from the same university (2013-2016), and participation in the Composites United e.V.
