Jost Imfeld

Jost Imfeld has extensive experience in the field of mechanical engineering, particularly in the development of combustors for heavy-duty gas turbines. Jost started their career at RUAG Aviation, where they worked as a mechanic and participated in the Swiss Championship and World Championship. Jost then joined Alstom Power, where they led a team in the area of mechanical design and managed interdisciplinary projects for combustor development. After this, they moved to GE, taking on roles as a lead combustor development engineer and technical lead in the development of combustion systems for heavy-duty gas turbines. Currently, Jost Imfeld is working at STOBAG AG as the department head of development, leading the team in designing premium quality products in the area of sun and weather protection.

Jost Imfeld started their education journey by attending WBZ Lucerne from 2001 to 2002. During this time, they obtained a General qualification for university entrance. Following that, from 2002 to 2005, Jost enrolled at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Art for their Diploma of Applied Science FH in Mechanical Engineering. Presently, Jost is pursuing a Master of Advanced Studies degree in MTEC Management Technology and Economics at ETH Zürich, starting in 2022.
