Stefan Fuhrer

Stefan Fuhrer is an experienced engineer with a focus on variant configuration engineering and product development. Currently serving as Team Lead Variant Configuration Engineer at STOBAG AG, Stefan manages a team dedicated to creating SAP configuration models within a highly automated make-to-order environment, emphasizing digitalization. Previously, Stefan held positions at AGRO AG as a Product Development Engineer, developing EMC high-voltage solutions for commercial vehicles, and at ABB as an SAP Power User and Product- and Production Engineer, where responsibilities included creating SAP configuration models and developing measuring equipment for fiber optic sensors. Earlier roles at Time-Bandwidth Products and Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz involved product development and research in laser technologies. Stefan holds a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Technologies and a Bachelor’s degree in Product- and Production Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, along with various certifications and training in emergency response and automotive technologies.
