Ittay Weiss

Ittay Weiss has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Ittay is currently working as a Rust Developer at Stockly since July 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded Quantale.ai in October 2022, where they held multiple roles including Co-Founder, Chief Mathematician, Algorithm Engineer, and Programmer until July 2023.

From December 2016 to October 2022, Ittay worked as an Associate Professor in Mathematics at the University of Portsmouth. Ittay also held the position of Associate Professor at The University of the South Pacific from January 2015 to December 2016 and was an Assistant Professor from July 2011 to January 2015.

Ittay started their career as an Assistant Professor at Mathematisch Instituut, Universiteit Utrecht from January 2009 to July 2011, where they carried out research, taught courses, designed assessments, and managed large courses.

Before that, they worked as an RFM Consultant at Hewitt Associates from September 2007 to January 2009. Ittay also served as a Ph.D. student at Utrecht University from September 2003 to August 2007, and a Teaching Assistant at Hebrew University from September 2001 to August 2003. As a Teaching Assistant, they provided lectures in the course "infinitesimal calculus" to support the main lectures given by the professor.

Ittay Weiss has an extensive education history in mathematics. Ittay completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1998 to 2001. Ittay then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mathematics from the same institution, which they obtained between 2001 and 2003. Continuing their academic journey, Ittay Weiss earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Utrecht University from 2003 to 2007.
