Seph Newman

Seph Newman is an experienced software engineer currently serving as the Lead Backend Engineer at Stoic since October 2020. Prior to this role, Seph held several positions at Twitch from December 2015 to October 2020, contributing to the development and launch of the Twitch Bits virtual currency product as a Software Development Engineer III. This included full-stack development and the maintenance of Go and Java microservices. Seph began a career at Amazon in 2014, progressing through various engineering roles and participating in the Digital Software and Video Games Team. Notable achievements include the development of Java microservices for digital order fulfillment and creating innovative projects during internships at Amazon. Seph holds a Master's and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, both from the University of Oklahoma.
