Helene Lefkowitz is a sustainability professional with over eight years of experience in the field. Helene is currently a Senior Sustainability Project Manager at stok, where they have been since September 2021. Prior to their current position, Helene was a Sustainability Project Manager at Ambient Energy from January 2021 to September 2021. Helene has also worked as a Sustainability Consultant at Ambient Energy from July 2017 to January 2021, and as a Project Manager at the Institute for the Built Environment from December 2013 to June 2017.

Helene’s experience includes regenerative design and development consulting, green building certification assessment and implementation, strategic sustainability planning, workshop and charrette facilitation, project management, and creating process improvements for client deliverables and internal operations. Helene has also managed student interns on various projects throughout their career.

Helene is a thought leader in the field of Regenerative Development, and has authored several publications on the subject. Helene is also an experienced public speaker, having presented at numerous conferences, panel sessions, lunch n’ learns, and guest lectures.

Helene Lefkowitz has a MA in Construction Management with a Sustainable Building emphasis from Colorado State University. Helene also has a degree in Geography with an Urban Planning focus from The University of Texas at Austin. Helene is certified by the International Living Future Institute as a Living Future Accredited Professional and by CLEAR as a LENSES Faculty member. Helene is also certified by Green Business Certification Inc. as a LEED AP Building Design + Construction professional.
