Bruno Gardel

Bruno Gardel is an experienced data scientist and manager with over 10 years of expertise in Data Science and Financial Product Management. Currently, they serve as the Head of Data Science at Afya, where they implement advanced data analysis projects and lead a team to develop statistical models that enhance the company's operations. Previously, Bruno held positions at Atento, HSBC, and Unibanco, managing teams and overseeing various financial product portfolios. They possess a strong academic background with degrees from UFRJ, the University of Oxford, and multiple postgraduate diplomas, complemented by four Azure certifications and programming courses from renowned institutions. Bruno is also a dedicated volunteer speaker and teacher, having contributed to both NGO initiatives and public education for many years.
