Patrick J. Farrell

Patrick J. Farrell is the current Chief Financial Officer at StoneCastle. Prior to joining StoneCastle, Mr. Farrell served as the Chief Financial Officer & Head of Operations at Emerging Managers Group, LP from February 2009 to February 2014. Patrick was a founding member of the specialty asset management firm focused on creating offshore (UCITS) mutual funds based in Luxembourg for sale in Latin America and Europe via broker-dealer channels.

As an integral member of the management team, Mr. Farrell drove the focus of the firm via review and analysis of monthly P&L, sales reports, created business plans, new product designs, profitability modeling and fundraising materials. Patrick also drafted and updated fund prospectus for filing with CSSF, and reviewed and approved semi-annual / annual reports. In addition, Mr. Farrell directed day-to-day operation of office including technology, web site, marketing materials and space/equipment leasing. Patrick also served as a member of the Fund Board of Directors of Selector Management Fund from January 2013 to January 2014.

Before joining Emerging Managers Group, LP, Mr. Farrell served as the Chief Financial Officer of Mutual Funds & Managing Director at New York Life Investment Management from April 1996 to June 2005. Prior to that role, they served as Vice President-Associate Manager at Drexel Burnham Lambert from May 1986 to April 1988.

Patrick J. Farrell holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Manhattan College.
