Michael Dnes

Michael Dnes is the Head of Transport Policy at Stonehaven, where they focus on the next generation of transport policy, particularly in speeding up planning and vehicle electrification. Formerly, Michael served as a civil servant, leading significant initiatives within the UK's Department for Transport, including the design of regulatory structures for HS2 and the management of the government's roads programme for nearly a decade. They also chaired an international study with the International Transport Forum on preparing infrastructure for autonomous vehicles. Michael earned a Bachelor's degree in History and a Master's degree in Economic History, both from the University of Cambridge.
