Peter Marshall has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Peter started their career as a Cooperative Education Student at Delphi in 1995, 1996, and 1997, gaining practical knowledge and skills. In 1998, they continued their cooperative education as a student at Delphi. From 1999 to 2014, Peter held various roles at Delphi, including Algorithm Engineer, ISO26262 Functional Safety Manager, and Staff Engineer - Engine Algorithm Control, where they specialized in engine control systems. In 2017, they joined Delphi Technologies as a Senior Engineering Manager, managing a team and overseeing control solutions for engine and vehicle functions. In 2020, Peter joined Stoneridge as the Chief Engineer, Systems Engineering, and later became the Chief Engineer - Software and Systems in 2021.

Peter Marshall's education history begins with their high school education at Elkhart Memorial High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 1990 to 1994. After completing high school, they attended Purdue University from 1994 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Peter Marshall also obtained a certification in Leadership Development Program from the Center for Creative Leadership in September 2022.
