Daniel Harty

Daniel Harty serves as Senior Legal Counsel at StoneX Group Inc. since October 2024, following a distinguished career in various senior risk management and legal roles. Previously, Daniel was Associate Director and Chief Risk Officer at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and prior to that, served as Director of the Office of Capital Markets at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Daniel's experience also includes positions as Managing Director of Enterprise Risk Management at Charles Schwab and Director and Chief Risk Officer for PNC's Chief Investment Office and Treasury. Earlier roles include Corporate Expert at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and General Counsel at Iowa Grain Company, along with associate work at Blau & Bonavich and supervision at the Chicago Board of Trade. Daniel holds a JD from DePaul University College of Law and a BS in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
