Nick Sferrazza

Nick Sferrazza, CFA, has extensive experience in the financial industry. Nick started their career at Deutsche Bank as an Analyst, where they worked as an MBS Trader & Assistant PM from July 2014 to July 2016. Nick then joined StoneX Group Inc. as a Vice President, specializing in trading Agency CMBS and MBS CMO deals, as well as Non-Agency SASB deals from July 2016 to June 2019. In June 2019, they were promoted to the role of Executive Director, where they continue to work as a CMBS Trader & Banker. In addition to their work in finance, Nick also serves as the Treasurer and board member of the Michigan Rowing Association, supporting the University of Michigan Men's Rowing Team. Nick started this role in January 2024. Prior to their career in finance, Nick worked as an Accounting & Physics Tutor at the University of Michigan Athletic Department from January 2011 to May 2014. Nick also completed an internship at Deutsche Bank in 2013, where they gained experience in stock analysis and quantitative screening for a Small Cap Equity Mutual Fund, as well as analyzing the economic impact of fund transformations for the Mutual Fund Management Group.

Nick Sferrazza, CFA obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, General from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2014. Nick also received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from the University of Michigan in the same year. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended Half Hollow Hills High School West from 2006 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Nick obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in 2018. Nick also received certifications, including Series 7, Series 63, and Series 79, from various financial regulatory authorities such as FINRA between 2016 and 2019.
