Alex Friend is the current Head of Growth at Stonly. Prior to this, they were the CRM & Email Marketing Manager at Calendly from October 2018 to February 2020. In this role, they led CRM and lifecycle marketing efforts, built out and optimized email and in-app communications, and focused on activation, adoption, conversion and retention.
Before Calendly, Alex was a Marketing Consultant at Noëlle Floyd.com from May 2016 to April 2018. There they managed email marketing and acquisition, sending high performing semi-weekly newsletters and growing the database organically through on-site optimization. Alex also oversaw and trafficked all on-site advertising, with campaigns consisting of display, emails, and sponsored content for large luxury brands as well as endemic equestrian brands. In addition, they drove site traffic and grew social audience through paid social campaigns.
Prior to Noëlle Floyd.com, Alex was the Director of Marketing & Operations at The Plunge (.com) from May 2016 to September 2018.
