Lars Axrup

Director, Strategic Projects at Stora Enso

Lars Axrup has a diverse and extensive work experience. Lars started their career at L.A. Elektronik o Motor, where they founded the company and worked until 1993. Lars then worked at Korsnäs AB as an Engineer, specializing in online process analysis and chemical analysis work. In 2001, they joined Stora Enso, where they held several roles, including Research Manager and Senior Specialist, leading various technology platforms. Lars later became a Project Director, where they focused on developing bio barrier technology for packaging. Lars then served as the Director, Head of business, responsible for sustainable packaging components. Currently, Lars is the Director of Strategic Projects at Stora Enso, overseeing the introduction of recycled fibers in food contact paper boards and the development of fiber-based packaging materials.

Lars Axrup's education history includes an Accelerator program in Business Management at Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development in 2019. In 2013, they completed a Competitive Strategy Module at IMD as part of a program for executive development.
