Markus M.

Markus M. possesses extensive experience in cybersecurity and information security, currently serving in a Cyber and Information Security role at Stora Enso since November 2023. Prior to this, Markus held various leadership positions at Tietoevry, including Group CISO and Cybersecurity Leader, from January 2020 to October 2023. Additional roles at Tieto from 2008 to 2020 encompassed Information Security Management and several leadership positions focused on software configuration management and open source. Markus also contributed as a board member at Validos from 2012 to 2017 and worked as a researcher and project manager at Tampere University of Technology. Earlier experience includes managerial positions at Nokia and Intellitel Ltd. Markus holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from LUT University and completed executive education in leadership at the Stockholm School of Economics.
