John Herszman is an experienced materials scientist with a strong background in research and development. Currently serving as the Materials Team Leader at StoreDot since January 2021, John has held various roles including Senior Researcher and Scrum Master within the R&D department. Prior to this, John completed postdoctoral research at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz focusing on Redox Flow Batteries and earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the same institution. John's industry experience includes a research position at Novartis in synthesis and technologies, and a master thesis project at Fraunhofer ICT-IMM on photoredox catalysis. John’s academic journey includes a Master's in Biomedical Chemistry and a Bachelor's in Biomedical Chemistry, both obtained from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
