Gerard Hoitinga has extensive experience in mechanical fitting and construction, beginning with a role as a plaatwerker/monteur/lasser at Meconaf Afzuiginstalaties from 2000 to 2005. Following this, Gerard held various positions, including montagemedewerker at Damex (2005-2010) and montagemedewerker staalconstructies at Jan De Roos (2010-2012), before serving as a monteur fitter at Syntec Personeelsdiensten from 2012 to February 2018. Currently, Gerard works as a Mechanical Fitter at Stork, a Fluor Company, since March 2018 and takes on the role of Foreman/Fitter at Bilfinger België & Nederland starting in January 2025. Gerard's educational background includes a degree in Mechanische techniek from AMS Franeker (1997-1999) and a mbo degree in basis lasser from ROC Friesepoort (2007-2008).
