Steven LaPelle has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Steven began their career at Local 291 Northeast Region of Carpenters, where they worked in commercial construction for over 20 years. In 2019, they transitioned to SUNY Adirondack as a Cisco Lab Assistant until December 2020. In 2021, they worked at SUNY Adirondack again, this time as an Information Technology Help Desk Support. Later that year, they joined Tech II Business Services as a System Engineer until March 2022. Currently, Steven is employed at StorMagic as a Technical Systems Engineer, a role they started in March 2022.

Steven LaPelle completed their education in a chronological order that includes several institutions and certifications. Steven earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Cybersecurity from Purdue Global, a university they attended from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Cybersecurity/Networking from SUNY Adirondack, Cisco Networking Academy, and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society International. Steven was enrolled in these institutions from 2019 to 2021.

Furthermore, in January 2021, they completed the "Google IT Support Specialization" from Coursera, and in November 2020, they obtained the "Cloud Security Knowledge Foundation" certification from the CSA Knowledge Center.
