Åsa Murphy

Åsa Murphy serves as the EVP, Head of Trade at Storskogen since December 2021, overseeing a substantial Trade Business Area with 28 business units and nearly 2,400 employees, contributing net sales of 9,700 million SEK as of Q2 2024. Murphy has held various leadership roles, including Interim EVP and Investment Director within the Trade sector at Storskogen. Additionally, Murphy is actively involved in multiple organizations, serving as Chairwoman of the Board for Scandinavian Cosmetics, ByWe Group, Schalins Ringar AB, Imazo, Vårdväskan AB, and SESSION.MAP, as well as a Board member for PerfectHair AG and previously for Extra UK. In 2016, Murphy founded BizStrat AB, a management consultancy, working with clients across various industries. Murphy holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from César Ritz Colleges Switzerland and a degree in International Business from Jönköping International Business School.
