Gunnar Syverud

Gunnar Syverud is a seasoned communications consultant with a focus on strategic and operational communication for Stortinget since March 2017. With prior experience as a journalist at Bondebladet and Nationen, Gunnar has a rich background in agricultural and political journalism. Gunnar served as a senior advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Agriculture and Food, overseeing media relations and speech writing. Additionally, as communications director at Landbruksdirektoratet, Gunnar managed both external and internal communications for the government agency. Educational qualifications include a cand.agric in agriculture from Norges landbrukshøgskole, a Master of Management in PR-Management and Strategic Communication from BI Norwegian Business School, and an Executive MBA in national preparedness and crisis management from Politihøgskolen.
