Nikolai Astrup

Nikolai Astrup served as a Stortingsrepresentant from 2018 to 2021 and held the role of Utviklingsminister at Utenriksdepartementet from 2018 to 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they were the Digitaliseringsminister in the Kommunal- og moderniseringsdepartementet and later became the Kommunal- og moderniseringsminister. Astrup has also been involved in academia as a research assistant at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2005 and earned a BSc in International Relations and an MSc in European Politics and Governance from the same institution. Additionally, they held various roles in consulting and editorial positions, including as a management consultant at Arkwright Consulting and as the responsible editor for TIDSSKRIFTET MINERVA.
