Simon Turner is a civil engineer with over 25 years of experience in the rail infrastructure and civil engineering sectors. They began their career as a Graduate Engineer at Balfour Beatty plc before progressing to roles such as Lead Designer and Drawing Office Manager at Balfour Beatty Rail Systems, Inc., and Senior Project Manager at Story C. Currently, as a Senior Bid Writer and Head of Project Controls at Story Contracting Limited, Simon focuses on optimizing bid proposals and implementing continuous improvement strategies within project delivery. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Teesside University and a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering Studies.
