Hao Chen is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and strategic leadership within the tech industry. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Story Protocol since September 2022, Hao is responsible for company strategy and technical direction. Prior roles include Vice President of Engineering at Harmony, where strategic investment decisions and engineering processes were spearheaded, and Software Development Manager at Amazon Web Services, contributing to the development of a high-performance storage virtualization engine. With a solid background in software development and engineering management gained from tenure at leading companies such as Amazon Lab126, Ericsson, Broadcom Canada, and Master Solution Inc., Hao's expertise encompasses protocol design, engineering team management, and early-stage crypto investments as a limited partner at Sancus Ventures and angel investor at DayOne Capital. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University.
