Deepali Awkale

Deepali Awkale is an experienced professional in the field of psychology and counseling, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Psychology Counseling at the Ashraya Initiative for Children since September 2022. Deepali also holds the position of Advisory Director for Psychology Counseling and Well-being Programs at Swaanubhav India Human Development Pvt. Ltd. and has worked as a Voiceover Artist for children's and adolescent stories at Storytel since July 2020. Previous roles include Program Manager at WOSCA's Life-Lab Science Program and Project Manager for a psychology counseling initiative at Lend A Hand India, where innovative projects such as the SAAD (साद) project were developed to enhance mental health support in schools. Deepali has extensive experience in training and education as a Consultant at Savitribai Phule Pune University, providing over 1000 sessions on life skills, mental health, and related topics. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Savitribai Phule Pune University and postgraduate studies in Counseling Psychology and English Literature from Fergusson College.
