Peter Messner

Peter Messner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Peter is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Storytel since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Group CFO at Catena Media from April 2020 to May 2023. Peter also served as the CFO/Finance Director MTGx at Modern Times Group MTG AB from February 2014 to April 2019. Before that, they were a Visiting Researcher at Stockholm School of Economics from November 2013 to January 2014. Peter also worked as the CFO and Director Corporate Development at Ongame Network from April 2010 to November 2013. Peter held various roles at bwin Interactive Entertainment AG, including Integrated Business Planning Manager from January 2009 to March 2010, and Product & Portfolio Manager, Project Manager from February 2006 to December 2008. Prior to that, they were the Managing Consultant at USECON from January 2001 to January 2006. Peter started their career as a Usability Engineer and Project Manager at CURE - Center for Usability Research and Engineering from July 2000 to January 2006. Peter also had a part-time role as a Project Assistant at Siemens from 1997 to 1999.

Peter Messner has a strong education background in social and economic sciences. Peter obtained their Doctorate degree from the University of Vienna between 2000 and 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Economics and Computer Science at Technische Universität Wien from 1995 to 2000. In 1998, Peter participated in the Erasmus Exchange Programme at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. In their earlier years, they attended Vienna Business School from 1990 to 1995, where they achieved their A-level qualification.
