Mark Baker

Mark Baker's work experience includes various roles in the engineering field. Mark is currently an Engineering Manager at Storyteq since August 2022. Prior to this, Mark worked at Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) from 2011 to 2022, where they served as the Head of Engineering and also as a .NET Architect / Team Lead and Senior .NET Developer. Mark was a Senior .NET Developer (Contract) at Northgate Information Solutions from 2009 to 2011, a C# Software Developer (Contract) at St Albans Commodities from 2008 to 2009, and a Senior C# ASP.NET Developer (Contract) at Greenstone Carbon Management from 2007 to 2008. Mark also worked as an ASP.NET Web Developer (Contract) at Barkers Digital in 2007. Mark's extensive experience in the field began in 2000 at XMWeb Ltd, where they were the Technical Director and Lead Developer. Mark co-founded the company and led a team of developers in creating a CRM/CLM web application for the financial services industry. Prior to XMWeb Ltd, Mark worked as a Microsoft Developer at Allen & Overy from 1997 to 2000, where they developed a groundbreaking extranet/client portal web application for the legal industry.

Mark Baker attended Holmer Green Upper School from 1986 to 1990. Mark then pursued a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies at Amersham and Wycombe College from 1990 to 1992. Finally, they enrolled at the University of Hertfordshire where they completed a HND in Computer Science from 1992 to 1994.
