Emma Benson, CPA, is the Director of Accounting & Reporting Advisory at Stout, where they leverage a decade of experience in guiding public and private companies through complex transactions such as IPOs, carve-outs, and divestitures. Emma previously held roles including Manager of Technical Accounting & Reporting at World Energy, LLC, and Director in Accounting and Finance Consulting at RSM US LLP. They have specialized expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and capital markets readiness. Emma earned a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, and has a background in business administration and finance.
