John Durbin

John Durbin is a seasoned professional in corporate valuation advisory with extensive experience at Stout since June 2011, currently serving as Director of Valuation Advisory. In this role, John provides valuation services for privately-held and public companies, addressing various needs such as goodwill impairment testing, purchase price allocations, and solvency opinions. Prior to Stout, John held multiple positions within the Valuation Advisory sector, including Senior Vice President and Vice President. John's early career included an Equity Research Intern role at Northcoast Research, where assistance was provided in the analysis of orthopedic manufacturing and medical technology companies, as well as a Dean's Research Assistant position at Ashland University focusing on business school programs. John also has experience as a Security Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Eagle Investment Group, managing student endowment funds and analyzing securities. John holds a BSBA in Finance & Economics from Ashland University, having graduated Cum Laude.
