Rich Barth

Rich Barth serves as the Managing Director at Stout since October 2022, providing valuation advisory services focused on estate planning and IRC 409A/ASC 718 matters, particularly for emerging growth and middle market companies. Rich has extensive experience in financial advisory and valuation, having previously held roles as Managing Director at Vantage Point Advisors, Inc. until its acquisition by Stout in 2022, and as Director of Business Valuation Services at a Boutique Investment Bank. Additional experience includes positions at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc., Houlihan Lokey, and in equity research at Goldman Sachs and HSBC. Rich also currently serves as a Board Member and Chair of the Audit Committee at Wedgemount Resources. Rich holds an MBA in Finance from Ivey Business School at Western University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Urban Land Economics and Finance from The University of British Columbia.
