Ethan Miller

Ethan Miller is an experienced professional in remote sensing and ionospheric radio science, currently serving as Team Lead at Systems & Technology Research since October 2019, where leadership focuses on applying physical principles to complex applied problems. Prior to this role, Ethan held positions at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from July 2009 to October 2019, including Lead Scientist and Principal Professional Staff, managing comprehensive research programs in ionospheric radio science. Ethan's earlier career includes various supervisory and project management roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2005 to July 2009, along with research assistance involving GPS and optical remote sensing instrumentation. Educationally, Ethan earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an M.S. from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science from Ohio Northern University.
