Michael Lexa

Michael Lexa is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in both research and industry. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at STR since March 2018, Michael previously held the position of Lead Research Engineer at GE Global Research from June 2012 to March 2018. A Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh from August 2009 to August 2011, Michael focused on developing new compressed sensing techniques for radio spectrum scanning. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Rice University and two Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Additional experience includes an internship at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and serving as Project Officer for the US Air Force.
