Michael Lucas is a highly experienced Principal Systems Engineer currently at STR since October 2022. Previously, Michael served as Chief Engineer and Principal Research Engineer at Spear Research from June 2017 to October 2022. Prior to that, Michael held various positions at Raytheon from June 2008 to June 2017, including Principal System Engineer and Senior System Engineer with Technical Honors. Notable contributions include involvement in the UAE Patriot Radar Selloff Team, focusing on system performance requirements and compliance for U.S. Government asset transfer, as well as developing simulation tools for missile performance studies. Michael holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering: Systems from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with Honors and Distinction from The Ohio State University.
