Michael Trutt has a strong background in software engineering and systems architecture. Michael is currently working as the Chief Scientist for Systems & Technology Research (STR), where they support a portfolio of programs and focuses on high-end processor and software architectures. Prior to that, they worked at Northrop Grumman as a Sr. Staff Systems Architecture Engineer, overseeing high performance computing and supporting corporate initiatives in Transformational Computing. Michael also served as a Software Engineer and Architect, leading various projects such as missile defense programs and satellite tracking systems. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in optimizing application solutions, improving team productivity, and increasing throughput for scientific applications.
Michael Trutt obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge from 1987 to 1992. Michael later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at UCLA from 1994 to 1996.
