Mike O'Brien

Mike O'Brien is a Senior Cyber Software Engineer at STR, where they lead the development and deployment of Go and Python-based solutions. Previously, they held various roles, including Research Scientist III at Peraton Labs, where they specialized in multi-domain autonomous planning and successful technology transitions. Their earlier experience includes internships at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions and T. Rowe Price, focusing on software maintenance and cyber threat intelligence, respectively. Mike earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland College Park and began their technical journey as a Help Desk Technician at the same university.
