Peter Kingston

Peter Kingston is currently a Lead Scientist at STR, focusing on perception and control for autonomous systems. Previously, they contributed to perception for autonomous vehicles at Aurora and served as a Senior Principal Research Scientist at BAE Systems, where they led the development of advanced algorithms for sensor fusion and distributed autonomy. Peter has held various academic roles, including Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, and has interned at IBM and Mercedes-Benz USA. They are pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering and hold multiple degrees in engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and Dartmouth College.
