Peter Shah is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in data management and software development. Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at Systems & Technology Research since August 2020, Peter previously co-founded Tranquil Data, where the focus was on data transformation and scaling for businesses. Peter's tenure at NetApp spanned over a decade, during which notable contributions included leadership roles in NFSv4.1 implementation for Clustered Data ONTAP and development within the Advanced Technology Group. Prior experiences include technical leadership positions at EMC and IBM, with a strong foundation in software engineering initiated with a Sc.B. in Computer Science from Brown University. Areas of interest encompass data governance, automated policy enforcement, SLO-driven management, and scalable distributed systems.
