Tim Johnston

Tim Johnston, MBA, currently serves as a Portfolio Manager at STR since May 2021. Prior to this role, Tim Johnston had a distinguished 20-year career with the US Navy, where various positions included Acoustic Intelligence Specialist and Divisional Head at the Naval Undersea Research Threat Analysis Center, specializing in complex maritime research and supporting sensitive reconnaissance operations. Tim Johnston also served as a Senior Acoustic Intelligence Specialist at Naval Station New London, overseeing budgeting and training for a team of eight, and as Division Head for the FTAC Military Analyst group, leading twenty-three acoustic analysts while managing a significant acoustic training budget. Tim Johnston holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences and a Master of Business Administration from Excelsior University.
