Daniela Trauninger

Function Lead Sustainabiliy Management

Daniela Trauninger studied civil engineering at the Technische Universität Wien, where they earned a doctorate in 2012 focused on building physics and the preservation of technical monuments. They worked as a building physicist at iC consulenten ZT GesmbH from 2001 to 2010, specializing in thermal building physics and energy certificate calculations. From 2010 to 2021, they led the Center for Building Climate and Building Technology at Donau-Universität Krems, concentrating on energy-efficient building design and the development of sustainable neighborhoods. Currently, they serve as the Function Lead for Sustainability Management at STRABAG SE and as a lecturer at the Universität für Weiterbildung Krems. Additionally, since 2019, they have been a city councilor for sustainability and mobility in Herzogenburg.
