Frank Hermes

Frank Hermes has over a decade of experience in construction management and project leadership, currently serving as the head of the technical office for the Brenner Base Tunnel project in Tyrol, Austria, with STRABAG since June 2013. Previous roles included senior construction manager for the South Extension of the Vienna Underground Line U1, back-office positions focused on calculation and tender processing for tunneling projects at HOCHTIEF, and site management for the Edmonton North Light Rail Transit Tunnel in Canada. An educational background in civil engineering was attained at Fachhochschule Kiel. Early career experiences included joinery and military service in an engineer battalion.
