Peter Rigg

Peter Rigg is a seasoned quality and welding inspector with extensive experience in various industrial roles, currently serving as a Quality Inspector at STRABAG since August 2023. Previously, Rigg worked at Motherwell Bridge Ltd in multiple positions, including Welding Inspector and Welding Supervisor/Inspector, where responsibilities encompassed weld inspections, procedure verifications, and in-process welding surveillance on significant projects. Rigg's expertise also includes roles at Kaefer-Opus as a Welding/NDT Inspector, FORCE Technology as an NDT Inspector, and Applus RTD as a PAUT NDT Technician, showcasing a diverse technical background from corrosion mapping to visual inspections. Rigg’s career began after completing education at Brunner Comprehensive Billingham.
