Yassin Rantell

Yassin Rantell (MCSM) is a skilled Tunnel Engineer currently employed at STRABAG since August 2022, where responsibilities include managing tunnel network control, guiding TBMs, setting out cross passages, and conducting ground monitoring on the HS2 project. Prior experience includes roles as an Environmental Researcher at NERC from January 2022 to August 2023, and as a Geophysical & Land Surveyor at GeoDefintion Limited from August 2021 to August 2022. Yassin also served as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at The Carter Center and as a GIS Intern at Dartmoor National Park Authority. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Surveying Land & Environmental Management and a BSc in Geography with Environmental Science from the University of Exeter, as well as a Certificate of Higher Education from Birkbeck, University of London.
