Devin Alvarez

Devin Alvarez has a diverse work experience in various industries. From 2017 to present, they have been the Founder & CEO of Straight Hemp, a company specializing in organic hemp products. Prior to this, from 2014 to 2017, Devin was also the Founder & CEO of Natural Dynamics, another hemp bioceuticals company. Before their venture into the hemp industry, Devin worked as an Applied Research Scientist at Florida A&M University from 2012 to 2016, focusing on molecular biology and phycoremediation. Devin also served as a Business Development and Quality Control Scientist at Agricor Laboratories from 2014 to 2015. In 2011, Devin was a Business Development Manager at Dynamic Answers, where they successfully secured over $500,000 in new work within the first 6 months of their tenure.

Devin Alvarez has a strong educational background in environmental science and history. From 2012 to 2016, Devin attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Science with a focus on Environmental Biotechnology. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, Devin attended both Florida State University and the United States Air Force Academy, earning a Bachelor's degree in History/Economics from FSU and a Bachelor of Science degree in History from the Air Force Academy.

In addition to these academic achievements, Devin has also obtained two certifications. In August 2012, Devin received certification in Illumina Mi Seq from the Illumina institution. Then, in August 2013, Devin obtained the Crossfit Level 1 certification from ASTM.
