Ed Downs

Ed Downs is currently the Head of Finance at Straker. Prior to this role, Ed served as the CFO - APAC at Navico, where Ed provided financial leadership across the APAC region. Before Navico, Ed was the Financial Controller at GE Money, leading the Controllership team. Ed also previously worked as a Finance Manager at Close Brothers, where Ed managed a team of accountants. Ed began their career as a Management Accountant at JPMorgan Chase and later worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at PwC. Ed holds a BCom/LLB(Hons) degree in Accounting and Law from The University of Auckland.
