Brian Hackman, P.E., P.H., BCEE, is an experienced professional in water supply engineering with a career spanning over two decades at Strand Associates, where Brian has held multiple roles including Director of Practice, Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Business Development Coordinator. Prior to joining Strand Associates in August 1998, Brian worked as a Graduate Engineering Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, focusing on environmental and civil engineering research while earning a Master of Science degree. Early career experience includes positions as an Associate Manufacturing Engineer at Gleason Cutting Tools, a Summer Intern at Bourn and Koch Machine Tool Company, and a CAD Drafter at Delta Technologies, Inc. Brian holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
