Strand Human Metrics is a hiring consultancy for small and mid-sized businesses. We work with owner-led companies; typically teams of 10 to 20 people who don't have an HR department and can't afford to get a hire wrong.

Founded by Andy Strandquist, a 10-year franchise owner and 2026 CPR Franchisee of the Year, SHM brings an owner's perspective to every search. We don't send resumes. We sit across the table from your candidates, in your office, alongside your team. We build interview processes that actually predict performance, and we help you hire people who strengthen your culture.

Our clients include companies in service retail, managed IT, wide-format print and manufacturing, and franchise operations. If you're a business owner who knows your next hire matters too much to get wrong, let's talk.
