Arunima Ghosh, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various roles within the healthcare and research field. Arunima started their career as a Clinical Trial Coordinator at AstraZeneca in 2015 and worked there until 2018. ARUNIMA then joined the Diabetic Clinic of Calcutta Diabetes and Endocrine Foundation as a Diabetic Educator and Clinical Data Analyst from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, Arunima became a Research Scientist at the International Institute of Innovation and Technology (I3TK), where they focused on isolating Wharton's Jelly derived Mesenchymal Stem cells from umbilical cord and conducting analysis using BD FACSLyric. ARUNIMA also gained expertise in tumor tissue repository (TTR) and its tracking system. Arunima then continued their research career as a Researcher at NRS Medical College, Kolkata from 2021 to 2022. Their responsibilities included conducting research projects. Additionally, they worked as a Project Management professional at MEDGENOME from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Arunima is serving as a Clinical Research Scientist ll at Strand Life Sciences.
Arunima Ghosh, Ph.D., pursued their education in a sequential manner. ARUNIMA began their academic journey at the University of Calcutta, where they completed their Graduation (Hons.) in Microbiology, General from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they furthered their studies at WEST BENGAL STATE UNIVERSITY, obtaining a Master of Science degree with a specialization in Microbiology and Genetics from 2009 to 2011. Arunima then returned to the University of Calcutta to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree, specializing in Biochemistry and Genetics between 2012 and 2018.
