Niharika A

Niharika A has extensive work experience in the field of genomics and cancer research. They started their career at Strand Life Sciences as a Clinical Genomics Scientist II, where they focused on analyzing cancer patient samples and selecting relevant variants for therapy and prognosis. They also worked as a somatic cancer database curator, providing curation services to clients. Prior to this role, Niharika worked as a Scientist-I at Strand Life Sciences, where they performed in-depth analysis of somatic variants in cancer samples and collected and analyzed relevant data on somatic variants. They also gained experience as an Internship Trainee at Strand Life Sciences. Before joining Strand Life Sciences, Niharika had internships at ITC Limited and Novocatalyz, where they gained experience in different areas such as skin morphometry and cell culture.

Niharika A completed their Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on microbiology, zoology, and chemistry at Mount Carmel College in India from 2014 to 2017. NIHARIKA then pursued a Master of Science degree in Microbiology at St. Joseph's University from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, from 2018 to 2019, Niharika A conducted their Master's thesis on food microbiology at the Central Food Technological Research Institute in Mysore.

In terms of additional certifications, Niharika A obtained a certification in "Case Studies in Personalized Medicine" from Coursera in July 2023.
